<h1 class="subject">Where is the best place to buy books online?</h1>

BESIDES half.com, ebay, and amazon...any one have some less known places? phatcollege.com sux by the way. They didn't have any of the books I searched for. Anyway, some suggestions would be much appreciated by this po' girl! ;)

My system

1) find the book on amazon.

2) copy the ISBN

3) search on http://www.bestwebbuys.com

That site also has online store coupons ("Hot Deals") on the main page.

I've bought from Powell's Books a number of times. They sell used and new books. They even offer free shipping for orders over $50.

I've been ordering books from Tattered Cover for over 25 years and am still very happy with them. They even ship books and bill you for them afterward. Never had a single problem with them and if you need individual help with items you can talk to an actual person in the store to get it.
