Where is the best place to buy books at reasonable prices? Not online, though.?

Besides Barnes&Nobles, I can't seem to find it even with directions. Vromans sell them at higher prices. I want to buy them with prices around how Costco and Walmart sells them, around $12-$13, but I can't find the book I want there (Eclipse) So i was wondering, where is a good place to buy books?
By the way, not Borders also, because they sell it at high prices.
If you can give me a few stores, more than one, that would be really great.
Thanks
You could actually check at your local library...Sometimes, they have tremendous sales of paperbacks and hardbacks..Or you could see if you have a used book store..Some of them actually give you credit to buy more books if you bring the original books back, or bring more books to trade for a 20% credit on the cover price..
Used bookstores. Or outlet bookstores. You can get it way cheaper online, though. But places like Target and K-mart would probably have it for that too. Why not get it at one of the places you mentioned, though? That's probably the best price.
Look into local thrift stores, like Goodwill/Salvation Army. Check out any secondhand book stores or Half-Price Books.
Using the public library is a great option and then if you read a book and just really want your own copy then look around for a sale or the ideas above. Plus you can always request these books for Bday or Christmas/Holiday gifts.
I would try looking at Target if you haven't already. Sam's Club would have it cheap if the have it in stock. Good Luck!
Try to find a local used book store, u can get books for as cheap as 50 cents at least at the one by me
